Where can fat be removed to get a BBL? Can I get more fat taken out from desired areas?

I know when getting a bbl your already getting fat taken out but I was wondering if I can get extra fat taken out from other areas such as the arms, armpit area and chin? Would that be included in the bbl or is that another procedure?

Fat can be removed from any area you desire with a Brazilian Butt Lift.  Many surgeons offer a flat fee for both the liposuction and BBL while others charge by the area.  You will need to get several consultations to determine which Board Certified Plastic Surgeon best fits your goals.

The common areas are legs and trunk. The arms are possible also but there is very little fat under the chin.

Thank you for your question. It's difficult to give precise recommendations without pictures, but generally speaking, your surgeon will assess which areas are best to remove the fat from to then transfer to the bum. Liposuction of the armpit, chin and arm are options. Often when performing a BBL, fat is often removed from abdomen and flanks. When you have a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, discuss the areas you'd like to address.

What is included in a BBL will vary from plastic surgeon to plastic surgeon. I include liposuction to the upper and lower abdomen, waistline, back, lateral axilla, and love handles with fat transfer to the buttocks. If patients want to add their arms or thighs etc then this is extra. If I happen to get a really thin patient who does not have excess fat in one of the included areas, then I will trade out that area for a different one at no extra charge. It is best that you find a board certified plastic surgeon in your area and ask them specifically what their policy is.
