Had en bloc implant removal 23 days ago. Each pectoralis major muscle is differently moving. Is something wrong? Before was equal. The right side above the boob seems to be indented and left going out like swollen. When I flex them, the right one moves my boob up and the left one not, it just makes a bulk on the top of the boob from the muscle. The muscle is also more coming into my arm when standing. Is this still swelling from the surgery or is something wrong?

Answer: Post-Explant Asymmetry Good morning! It's really impossible to tell since you're so early in the process. Give it a full 3 months, follow your PS' instructions on whether or not you should massage, what type of bra you should be wearing, etc., and then you can reassess as well as decide if you want those smaller round smooth silicone gel implants!

Answer: Too soon to tell Scar tissue is the thickest about six weeks after your surgery so it is not uncommon for stuff to be adherent and move when muscles are flexed. It is also not uncommon for scar tissue to be worse on one side than the other for reasons no surgeon can truly explain. If you are right-handed, your right pectoral muscle may be more developed than the left. Alternatively, the left muscle or nerves could have been damaged either during placement of the implant or during the enbloc removal. You might try massaging out the lump on the right, sometimes that helps it soften faster but generally it will take six months for scar tissue to soften and stretch so i wouldn't be too worried right now.
