Thank you very much for your interesting question. Let me try and answer this question from two angles. Do waist trainers cause fat cells to die? We call this phenomenon pressure atrophia. Waist trainers do cause fat cells to die in the area where pressure is applied. However pressure has to be high and applied for a long time. Waist trainers not only compress the fat but also the inner organs and by that restricting, for example, the respiration. So you can safely say that before they work they would have caused a lot of damage. Now the second part of your question: Do they cause fat cell atrophia after BBL. I assume you are talking about fat cell loss on the buttocks. Unless you are wearing a waist trainer, that applies a lot of pressure on the butt (normally it would only be on the waist) that should not happen. So does it cause fat cell atrophia? Yes Does it do this on the buttock's? No I do recommend not to wear any high-pressure waist trainers because of the health implications they have. Have a wonderful rest of the day and greetings from the beautiful island of Jamaica.
