I had a VIPeel done on my face and neck 5 days ago. My face is doing ok but my neck is extremely raw and seems to be burned. I can’t even straighten my neck because the skin is so taught. I don’t know if this will heal or if I need to seek help?

Typically, with the Vi Peel you will look worse before you look better. The dark spots are likely dead skin that will slough off as the peeling process continues. However, if these new dark spots remain after the peeling process is complete you should follow up with your provider. We would...
After your peel from day 3 to day 7, use a gentle cleanser or the cleanser provided, using light, gentle pressure. Avoid scrubbing or picking the skin to prevent scarring or hyperpigmentation.
