BBL and breast augmentation at the same time? Can you sit after a hip fat transfer?

While it might be possible to do the procedures at the same time, if you are located in Florida, combining liposuction with another procedure limits the amount of liposuction that can be performed. You might want to discuss with your surgeon whether that is going to limit the ultimate outcome. If so, you might be better off doing the fat transfer as an independent procedure.  I am assuming you are using implants for your breast augmentation and not fat transfer. Just like implants provide a much more reliable and permanent option for breast augmentation you should also consider implants for hip dips augmentation. Fat transfer tends to be very short-lived in this area of the body and rarely much of what is put in remains permanent. Glad to be of help.

I have done breast augmentation and liposuction as a combination in many patients. Then transferring the fat would only add a few minutes to the procedure. Post op you will have to try to avoid pressure on your areas of surgery. Good luck.

It is certainly possible to have both done at the same time.  You are best  to be seen in person to see if you are a candidate and to determine if you have enough donor tissue. Best of  luck.

this combination should work and be relatively easy in regards to recovery.  When getting a BBL many providers will ask you not to sleep on your back but if you're only treating your hip dips then you should be able to sleep on your back. The problem with sleeping face down as that is less than ideal after breast augmentation.  Both of these procedures are pretty easy in regards to recovery. Five days would be the max anyone should need in regards to recovery and realistically for low impact work most patients could probably go back to work after two or three days.  Ibuprofen works very well for taking care of the discomfort after these procedures.  Both liposuction and fat transfer a relatively easy to recover from. Breast augmentation varies a bit on if the implants placed underneath the pectoralis muscle and how much of the muscle is cut during the procedure.  Obviously different people perceive recovery differently.  If you have the procedure on Friday I don't see why you could not return to work on Monday or Tuesday.  Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
