How soon can you have BBL after having a baby?

I was scheduled for a Brazilian Butt Lift and upon going in for my blood work found out I was pregnant. I just gave birth to my daughter 3 weeks ago...... how soon can I schedule for surgery?

Congrats on your newest arrival! It is best to wait 6 months after having your baby. This allows your body to go back to its pre-baby weight and the swelling and fluid retention will have gone away as well. That said, you definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety.  Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

I would recommend that you wait 6-12 months after you finish breast feeding for optimal results.  This will give your body adequate time to heal and recover and get back to pre-pregnancy weight.

You can be a candidate for plastic surgery, six months after you have stopped breastfeeding, when your hormones have normalized.
