Accidentally hit nose after rhinoplasty. Will I be OK?

Hello So my boyfriend accidentally bumped my nose while giving me a hug this morning, when it happened I felt my nose move to the left side and heard a noise that only I could hear from within (if that makes any sense?) I still have the splint on but I am freaking out that I may have ruined my results and my nose will now heal crooked once the splint is taken off and the swelling goes down:(, when it happened it obviously caused pain but nothing too bad, so what do you guys think? Will I be ok?

It is very likely that this did not cause any long term issues.  However, it is best to follow up with your surgeon so that they may examine you.

I would go see you rhinoplasty doctor today or tomorrow.He or she will take the cast off and look at your nose.If it moved, he can probably align it right then and there and replace the splint.Otherwise, it may heal crooked.Good luck.Dr. G

Usually with this type of issue the 'first' thing a patient does is call and see her surgeon in person! Have you even done that???? My over the internet pure guess is nothing happened but really how do any of us know WITHOUT an in person examination. Seek help from your chosen surgeon...
