Acanthosis Nigricans on inner thighs?

Without a physical examination or pictures, this is a difficult question to answer. However, if the acanthosis nigricans is to the inner thigh, this can be typically removed. Acanthosis nigricans is dark, thickened skin that occurs in the creases of the body such as the groin/inner thigh region.  It is more common in patients who are overweight, and after weight loss patients may have loose skin remaining in the inner thigh region.  A medial thigh lift could be possible to remove this affected skin for such patients who are medically suitable.  I would recommend an in-person consultation to better evaluate your surgical options and make specific recommendations.
