I had the surgery 6 week ago and im concern about my butt. I don't know if it still bruises or if it is discoloured. Maybe it is fat necrosis ? I can't reach my doctor cause i went out of the country.
Answer: Very Good Results! Congratulations! You got excellent results from your BBL and liposuction. Your buttock contour is excellent and your waist is very narrow. The minor yellowish bruising is pretty normal after BBL, and should resolve within the next few weeks. Fat necrosis presents itself as persistent, hard areas in the buttock. If you have no hard areas, then you probably don't have fat necrosis. If you do, let your surgeon know when you see him again. Fat necrosis usually softens up over time without any specific treatment. It can take 2 years to resolve and improves over that time period. My advice is to enjoy your trip and see your surgeon when you get home. For now, congratulations on a fabulous result. Good luck!

Answer: 6 Weeks Post BBL, Still Have Bruises & Discoloration Your excellent question needs to be answered by the surgeon who did the BBL surgery for you. If you are unable to get in touch with your surgeon directly, I would call his or her answering service and tell them you are interested in scheduling a surgery. I bet someone will call you back.Scolding you because you went out of the country to have your surgery is inappropriate. You obviously can see the problem now. On the other hand, from the photographs you sent, you had what looks like an excellent BBL, but complications do occur and the difference between a bruise and an impending fat necrosis requires an in person exam. I no Board Certified plastic surgeon in your community will see you, I recommend going to an ER or ambulatory care facility because they have MRI's and CT scans which can give you a definitive answer.

Answer: 6 weeks post BBL Thank you for your question. Based on the photos you have provided it is hard to tell if there is any bruising. Your results are great, with a good shape. It is normal however to have bruising up to 6 months post BBL. Best advice is to follow up with your surgeon regularly to discuss any issues that have arisen during your recovery period. Best wishes.
