Did a consultation a few weeks back and was considered to have constriction on the lower pole. Did some reading about tubular breasts and saw that it requires some sort of tissue scoring to improve the shape. However, this was not mentioned at consult. Was told that the options was to have the maxoplexy with or without an implant. Just looking for some advice as I don’t want to have an implant project and further exaggerate a deformed shape. Thank you.

Hi , thanks or posting. This is a known but relatively rare risk of breast lift or breast reduction. At this point, watchful waiting is needed to see which areas of the areola and nipple survive. It's likely you will have an open wound there for awhile if part of the areola does slough off....

Thank you for your question and photos. It is not unusual to experience some bruising after breast augmentation surgery. Also, tightness may also be experienced as the tissues around the implants are still swollen following the surgery. It will resolve over time.
