Sculptra lasts the longest (ie. more than 7 years!!) when injected properly. By that I mean the patient has 3 injection sessions, spaced 2-3 months apart. As long as your injector reconstitutes the Sculptra adequately before injecting, and you do the recommended small, frequent, moderately-firm massages over the treated area(s) in the first 5 days after injection, you are very, very unlikely to get any "Sculptra Nodule." I love injecting all fillers and volumizers, as each has its own set of advantages and disadvantages, and therefore there is usually a choice of preferred ones for an individual to meet their needs. In the case of Sculptra, the disadvantages are the slow onset of final results, the recommendations to have multiple injection sessions, and the recommendations for 5 days of small, frequent massages. BellaFill has PMMA (poly-methylmethacrylate) as its active ingredient, which means it lasts far longer than even 5 years.....but the disadvantage is you can get a lump from it that can only be removed surgically. One needs to be cautious in treating temples with this product. Alternatively, one can have a "baseline amount" of this product injected, and have another product, such as Sculptra, Radiesse, or a hyaluronic acid filler injected 3 months after the BellaFill. I hope that information serves you well!
