Hi! Im really concerned about the crease in my upper and lower belly button, my dr says it will go away, i didn't have it in the early days after post op but then it appeared and never went away! Is this permanent? What should I do about it? My friend have surgery at the same time and she is completly flat (another surgeon and a longer incision) and i have been looking for photos of people with 6weeks tummy tucks and ALL of them are super flat. Thank you!

Answer: Crease in upper and lower belly button area?
Hi and thanks for the question. I am very concerned about your leg swelling. Swelling in one leg can be a sign of a blood clot which should be evaluated immediately by your ps or the local emergency department. Regarding your posture- you will straighten after tummy tuck but this can take 3-4 ...
Surgeons have differing opinions on resuming extensive exercise after a belt lipectomy. It sounds like your surgeon has delivered a good result so far, so I would follow his advice. Best of luck.
During the first week after a tummy tuck it is expected that you will not stand up straight .However, at the two week mark, you should be able to stand up straight. Often you don't due to discomfort, but its important to try to avoid developing back pain. Review this with your plastic surgeon.
