Hi! I am 5’7 and I work out 6 days a week weight training at the gym. I wanted fat transfer to breasts for I am not a big fan of implants and just having plastic in my body in general. I have gone to various surgeons and the mentioned that fat transfer would be difficult (it is not common in Mexico) and all recommended breast implants. I am currently a 32A and would like to go up to a 32B, would 180cc tear drop over the muscle be ideal as recommended to me?
Answer: Breast implant I also don’t think fat transfer works very well especially since you’re so thin. 180 cc implants are almost not even worth using. Even 250 would be really small but makes mire sense than 180

Answer: Case review Hi Elizabeth, After reviewing your photos I can tell that you are a lean patient with minimal quantity of fat in your body. Fat transfer to breasts is a very common procedure done in the OR, specially in combination with breast augmentation, but in your case unfortunately you don't have much fat deposits to transfer to other areas. In my opinion the best way to select an implant is in an In-Person consultation, where your plastic surgeon can measure your chest wall, and according to your expectations both of you can decide a size. In persons with small breast that are aiming to have upper pole fullness, with good and natural cleavage, I prefer a submuscular placement of a ROUND implant. Generally speaking every 200 cc increase in breast volume in a patient like you will increase ONE cup in Bra size. Hope this will help you. Dr. Enrique Quiros Lim

Answer: Implant selection The implant size you are considering is very conservative. I would recommend placing the implants beneath the muscle to disguise the upper portion of the implant since you do not have a lot of breast tissue. Many surgeons have sample implants you can "try on" to give you an idea of how you may look after surgery. That, along with a discussion with your surgeon, should lead you to the right implant for you.

Answer: Implants I would suggest meeting with a plastic surgeon and actually try on this size so you can see what you may look like. I would suggest the smooth round implants and placing them behind your muscle for a better look and less long term risks.

Answer: Implant size Dear Eliizabethlm, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
