Have any of you performed a BBL on a patient with rheumatoid arthritis and a benign pituitary tumor?

I am on methotrexate and cabergoline. My rheumatologist mentioned she had a few patients who have had a BBL & were completely fine. She recommends, stopping the methotrexate 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after any type of surgery. Waiting to hear back from my endocrinologist to be medically clearly but I believe I will be fine, just wanted to hear from you all!
