I am on methotrexate and cabergoline. My rheumatologist mentioned she had a few patients who have had a BBL & were completely fine. She recommends, stopping the methotrexate 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after any type of surgery. Waiting to hear back from my endocrinologist to be medically clearly but I believe I will be fine, just wanted to hear from you all!

Symptoms of fat necrosis vary. Anything from decrease of volume, seromas, to an infection... usually fat necrosis can be diagnosed with a clinical exam or with a test of ultrasound or MRI scan.
