I had a lipoma removed 4 weeks ago and have since healed. I saw what I thought was dry skin on the incision and pulled it. It was a dissolve able stitch and it is hanging about a quarter inch out. Should I go back to my doctor or can I just pull it out?

Hi there,There are no proven medications, diets or exercise routines that will help you prevent the formation of new lipomas or make the old ones stop growing.If they become too big or hinder in your day to day activities you might have to have them removed. Otherwise just leave them alone.
