Question

I am wondering what you think I should do about this chin scar and extra skin/fat that I still have. I HATE the indent that the scar is causing and it's quite embarrassing and so obvious that I had something donedone. What should I do?? my surgeon told me to do CO2 laser, and that would fix it. I don't believe this is going to solve the problem that is bothering me. Is there a way to detach the scar tissue from the underlying underlying skin?? what would you do if you were me?

So sorry that you are disappointed and having this frustrating problem.
Keep it simple would seem like the best advice here. If the chin Indentation is the sole concern, then the use of Subcision, a simple, relatively inexpensive, minimally invasive technique that has over a thirty year track record of safety and efficacy for elevating and smoothing all kinds of indented scars (including those resulting from surgery) is a very viable treatment option  It may be performed with or without the addition of filler.  I have personally been performing subcisions since 1995 with very gratifying results. Regarding the upper neck, you might wish to consider the use of targeted platysmal Botox injections along the jawline and upper neck to help tighten the area. Additional benefit can be obtained with the use of a robust HA contouring filler to better define the jawline and provide further lift and straightening of the upper neck. You would be wise to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist.
