I had a pdo thread lift to help lift the corners of my mouth. One side you can see a lump when I smile and when I pull back my on my skin. The other side feels "thicker" and I feel looks fat there, just in that area. Is there any fix to this? Obviously looking at my mouth, there is no visible lifting, so I am wondering if the procedure was done right. It was done by an instructor who teaches others how to do it, so I thought I was in good hands.
Answer: Post threads lump I always recommend returning to the clinic that performed the procedure. You should feel comfortable and confident that they will help you. How long has it been since the thread procedure was performed? It can easily be fixed by gentle massage or RF treatment with Tempsure device to soften the thread. The good news is that it is temporary. You were definitely undertreated . Your chin area has no support and without it , the mouth corners will never look soft and less droopy. Best. Answer: Threadlifting Adverse Reactions Relatively Common & Often Require Thread Removal I gave up performing threadlifting many years ago. Adverse reactions consisting of lumps and bumps, dimpling, dents, stitch extrusion and "spitting out" of the threads, as well as infection and prolonged post-treatment downtime were all too common. Additionally, all too often, the durability of the results does match the hyped promise. I have been cautioning my regular followers for years already about this. Sorry that this has happened to you. You would be wise to return to the individual who performed the procedure to discuss possible remedies, including thread removal. Going forward, as well as for other readers of this answer, there are many safe, robust HA volumizing and lifting fillers out there that can be used to quite easily address facial sagging, wrinkling, jowls etc. In the hands of an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler injector, filler cheek augmentation can be performed to contour a more oval, feminine, heart-shaped face; down-turned angles of the mouth and marionette lines can be straightened; smile lines elevated; jawlines straightened and defined and jowls improved. And, each of the aforementioned results are typical immediate and on-the-spot and accompanied by little to no significant post-treatment downtime. Hope this helps you going forward, as well as other readers of this response. Best of luck.

Answer: PDO Threads It is important to reach out to your provider and let them know what you are experiencing. There are different types of PDO threads used to reach your specific treatment goal. PDO threads are made of Polydioxanone, a material that breaks down over time while creating collagen. If placed too superficially they may be more visible. They will dissolve over time, but it could take several months.

Answer: Wait but sadly normal Seems a relatively standard result for PDO threads. They are not very powerful and in my experience, certainly not powerful to lift a face sagging to the degree that yours is. The little nodules are the thread material under the skin. Again, this is relatively common and given the threads will dissolve over time. This will be less of a problem, but the lift effect will also fade quite quickly as well. I have quite a lot of information on this topic and others on my YouTube channel Adam goodwin surgery, if you'd like to read more about it. Hope that helps. Best wishes, Adam goodwin.

Answer: Lumps after face PDO thread lift. Is there any fix to this? Nicely posted 2 photos. These are very very very frequent complications of threading. Only doing ultrasound with possible excision of thread cause lumps can remedy this situation. If yu use short cuts for rejunvenation then only last few months and many complications. Appears you were better served with mini face/neck lift with SMAS plication. Fee $5,000. Best to virtual consult with.....
