Thank you for your question and posting your picture. The amount of PRP collected and injected is somewhat dependent on the amount of blood drawn and the specific PRP kit that is used. Swelling following PRP injections is not unusual and the good news is that it is almost impossible to inject to much PRP. If your swelling is not improving in the next 48-72 hours, I would suggest following up with your physician.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
Thank you for the photo. Regularly we recover about 5 ml of plasma, 1 ml of PRP and 4 ml of PPP per session. There is not an específic amount of plasma indicated for a particular area. I will advise to consult with your physician for evaluation of the swelling if it doesn't resolve or lessen within the first 48h. Dr.LM.
Hi jeabor, Theoretically, PRP injections should not produce adverse reactions but in reality, there is some swelling and erythema. You should go back and see your doctor to rule-out any other source of allergic reaction. Were you exposed to anything else like scents or powders? Was your face wiped with an antiseptic you are allergic to? Do you have allergy to aneshetics? In the meantime, lower your dietary salt intake and watch out for difficulty of breathing or itchiness. Swelling would usually subside in 4 days so try to put some cold compress if it makes you more comfortable. All the best, Justin Harper, MD.

I don't recommend repeating Vampire Facial after 2 weeks, it takes at least 4-6 weeks to see results. Best to get on the schedule of doing it monthly or every 6 weeks for 3-4 times in a row, then space it out. In the case of Vampire FaceLift which included fillers, the fillers usually last 18...
Hi naomichambers, Microneedling with PRP or the Vampire Facelift will indeed plump up the face and neck. However, this is not going to replace Botox or fillers. Microneedling is a collagen inducing treatment which is made even better by the use of PRP in vampire facials. The growth factors in th...
