Should I get excessive fat transferred around my eyes? (Photos)

Question

I had fat transfer above and under my eyes last year in Oct. one side under my eyebrow seems to have more fat that the other side. Should I wait longer to see the final result, or I should get that side dissolved? If dissolved, what product should I use and what’s the side effect? Will I look worse or better?

I typically steer people away from doing facial fat transfer because in comparison to fillers the procedure is fickle, unpredictable and precise and somewhat unforgiving.

The fat survives based on where there is a greater abundance of host tissue to support the graft which varies in different places of the face.

Removing previously grafted fat is difficult and at times not possible.  Unlike fillers grafted fat can not be dissolved.  Using off-label Kybella is not appropriate or recommended.

Follow up with your provider or schedule proper in person second opinion consultations.  For a proper second opinion consultation I recommend bringing proper before and after pictures and a copy of your operative report which are all available from your provider if you request.

At this point waiting longer is not going to change your results.
