What is the max amount of cc you can get in each cheek for a BBL?

I looked at my most recent 100 Brazilian Butt Lift cases a few years ago and can tell you that my average patient gets approximately 580cc of fat injected into each buttocks cheek. However, patients who have a generous fat distribution before surgery can expect to get up to 1000cc of fat for each cheek.The amount of fat injected is highly dependent on your specific case. The final amount injected will NOT be the amount which is removed. It is also important to realize that how the fat is harvested, processed, and injected will determine your final fat transfer result.

Depending upon a patient's skin laxity, height and weight the amount of fat that can be put into the buttocks varies significantly. Larger transfers can be as much as 1000 cc's although this much would be too much for most women. Ultimately the amount of fat that can be transferred will be a combination of how much available fat you have, how large you wish to be and what volume will give you the nicest proportion.  Best of Luck    Dr Harrell

Great question!  A very common question in the office. Most of the time there are more fat grafts available from liposuction of your body areas than can be injected into the buttocks.  The buttocks due have a volume limit due to the size of the muscles and skin on your buttocks. Patients with larger skeletal frames and buttock shapes of a-shape, round or square can accept more volume than small frame, or v -shaped buttocks.  During the operation, there is also relaxation or stretching of the skin and muscle over time which gives a small additional volume after re-injection.  An evaluation of your buttocks from you surgeon will have a more accurate prediction of possible volume change. Thank you for asking!
