I have pain and tightness and some bruising on cheeks after dermal filler Restalyne was injected 30 hours ago. How much pain is normal?
Answer: Fillers Such as Juvederm, Restylane, Voluma, Silk, Radiesse, Sculptra, Bellafill; Fat Transfer/Renuva Minimal pain and swelling are normal after injections but pressure and severe pain are not. I recommend following up with your Doctor immediately if you are concerned. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Pain and Tightness? Dermal Filler Treatment Pain can be variable as well as swelling, which can account for the tightness you feel. It will take 1-2 weeks to resolve. I would wait a full 2 weeks before assessing results. Hope this helps.
