Minimal pain and swelling are normal after injections but pressure and severe pain are not. I recommend following up with your Doctor immediately if you are concerned. Best, Dr. Emer
Pain can be variable as well as swelling, which can account for the tightness you feel. It will take 1-2 weeks to resolve. I would wait a full 2 weeks before assessing results. Hope this helps.
It its normal to have some bruising, tenderness and swelling after a Restylane injection. It is not uncommon to feel some discomfort following an injection, but you should not be feeling any sharp or intense pain. Any soreness should start to subside after a few days and the bruising and tenderness should begin to fade after 1-2 weeks. If, after two weeks, the bruising and tightness remains or you continue to have questions about your treatment, I would recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with your provider to go over your results.

Thank you for your question! The filler is not a commodity. Who injects your product, their clinical skill, artistry, and experience makes all the difference in the outcome of the service. Yes, you get what you pay for. The best injectors charge more for their services than others. The under e...
