When will the effect of Miradry start to work?

Thank you for your question, and congratulations on your choice to say goodbye to underarm sweat and odor! The results of miraDry are immediate due to the removal of underarm sweat and odor glands during the procedure. Once these glands are eliminated they do not grow back, resulting in immediate and lasting results. Recent clinical studies have confirmed an average of 82% of sweat and odor reduction in patients, with 90% of patients only needing one treatment (you will also see an added benefit of underarm hair reduction). The effects of miraDry® start to work immediately after the
procedure because the sweat glands are immediately destroyed. As the swelling and
inflammation resolve over the following weeks, some sweating may return if any
sweat glands that were not destroyed by the treatment were shut down
temporarily. Underarm dampness within a short time period following the
procedure may be due solutions that were injected during the procedure leaking
out of the tissue.

Swelling
and inflammation are typical after Miradry treatment and may last for a few
days following your treatment. You
should notice the effects and improvement when these symptoms resolve.
