When will the effect of Miradry start to work?

I've just done my first Miradry treatment 2 days ago and I still feel damp in my underarm. When will the effect start to kick in?

Thank you for your question, and congratulations on your choice to say goodbye to underarm sweat and odor! The results of miraDry are immediate due to the removal of underarm sweat and odor glands during the procedure. Once these glands are eliminated they do not grow back, resulting in immediate and lasting results. Recent clinical studies have confirmed an average of 82% of sweat and odor reduction in patients, with 90% of patients only needing one treatment (you will also see an added benefit of underarm hair reduction). Results of the treatment may vary from patient to patient, so give your body two to three months to see final results before questioning if you will be needing a second treatment.  If you have any further questions or concerns regarding your treatment, I would reach out to your miraDry specialist.

The miraDry® system eliminates the underarm sweat glands, and the sweat glands don’t grow back after treatment. This results in a dramatic and lasting reduction of embarrassing underarm sweat. In a clinical study, patients experienced an average of 82% reduction in underarm sweat. You should notice a reduction in sweat immediately after a single miraDry® treatment. As with any medical procedure, results will vary by person. 80% of our patients need only one treatment. Secondary effects include underarm hair and odor reduction. The effects of miraDry® start to work immediately after the
procedure because the sweat glands are immediately destroyed. As the swelling and
inflammation resolve over the following weeks, some sweating may return if any
sweat glands that were not destroyed by the treatment were shut down
temporarily. Underarm dampness within a short time period following the
procedure may be due solutions that were injected during the procedure leaking
out of the tissue.
