Allergic reaction to Hyaluronidase! Can I still get lip fillers?

I got my upper lip removed with hyaluronidase, ( I have been injected with ultra Juvederm) I wanted my upper lip removed because it had migrated above my upper lip and I started looking ducky. immediately I started having a bad reaction to it, my whole face swelled up and it took about four days to go down with medication. The cosmetic nurse is refusing to do my lips & said I have to go to a plastic surgeon for it. is it safe for me to get fillers or no? my top lip is so thin compared to my lower lip

It is most likely the brand of hyaluronidase that was used on you. Some have animal byproducts in them which cause reactions. I personally use Hylenex without any issues and have done this for years. I have removed fillers from thousands of patients. The issue is how the product is made. And quite frankly, if you had such severe issues with your prior injector, you might just want to see someone else anyway. It is imperative to seek an expert especially in regards to your lips. I hardly ever just inject the top lip or you'll end up looking ducky and overfilled. Balance in the lips is super important. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and
