Do the juvederm vycross fillers ACTUALLY respond to hyaluronidase?

Question

I had volbella injected in my lips and I ended up hating it. I've had it dissolved twice so far with very very little results. The most I've seen it do is "soften up" a bit but its all still in there. I know the vycross technology fillers are very hard to breakdown. I want to know if any realself physicians have ACTUALLY experienced dissolving a vycross filler and what was the outcome. Did it actually get rid of the filler? I'm nervous this is gonna hang around awhile. Please help.

Hyaluronidase will dissolve vycross fillers, however, sometimes it takes multiple sessions to completely remove.

Hello L2U.  The same technology (Vycross) that helps these products last longer is the same technology that makes them harder to dissolve.  This means that multiple visits are required in most cases to dissolve the filler.  Best of luck.

The Juvederm Vycross range of fillers have excellent longevity due to the high level of cross-linkage. However, this does present an issue with dissolving the filler if complications occur. 
In short, these fillers do respond to Hyaluronidase. However, due to the high degree of cross-linkage, it is likely to take more than one session to completely dissolve the product.

As the HA filler you have used is longer-lasting it can also more challenging to dissolve at times. You may find that you will need more than one session or higher amounts of hyalurodinase to completely dissolve the filler. I hope that is useful and best of luck!

Thanks for your question.  Hyaluronidase will dissolve HA products but as they have more cross linking, they may take more product to dissolve and more treatments.

Hello Latchinon2u,Vycross technology internalizes the bonds that bind the molecules together.  This is why they tend to last much longer.  However, this is the same bond that hyaluronidase works on.  Since it is internalized it takes more hyaluronidase and more treatments to dissolve vycross fillers.  I hope this helps and good luck.

Vycross fillers are harder to dissolve. It takes more hyalouronidase and more treatments. I have dissolved voluma which is also a vycross product.

The answer is yes. Hyaluronidase will always dissolve HA it doesn’t matter wich kind of. Either if you need to change results or you have any complication, Usually you notice results in the first week.

I've had experience dissolving both Vollure and Volbella which are part of the Vycross family. They are easily dissolvable if injected correctly however it may take 2-3 sessions to achieve desirable results. Also, in order for the hyaluronidase to take effect, it must be injected at a one-to-one ratio with the Hylauronic Acid Filler. Hope this helps!
