What setting should the Cutera Excel V be on to create purpura and remove tiny broken blood vessels on the face?

I've recently had two treatments of Cutera Excel V laser on my face. Both treatments had no affect on my broken blood vessels. In the past I had Vbeam treatments on my broken blood vessels which created purpura - they faded away in a couple of weeks which i was very happy with! However I can't find any clinics/derms in my city that have Vbeam as supposedly the Cutera Excel V is the newer better version... What setting should it be on to create purpura and remove my tiny blood vessels?

It is fairly common to have swelling after Excel V laser, particularly if the entire face was treated. Around the eyes is always the worse. Sleeping with the head elevated for 2 days is helpful. Steroids sometimes help the swelling recede faster. Rosacea patients tend to swell more than most. A...

Thank you for your question. Redness can be treated with a variety of laser treatments. This may range from Excel-V, IPL, Microneedling w/ PRP. It would be best to ask your provider which treatment you may benefit from the most. Best of luck!
