I gotdouble eyelid surgery, epi, ptosis correction and fat removaldone at Korea February 2019and throughout my recovery I was anxious my left eye would not look like my right but I was reassured by the surgeon and staff that it would eventually even out after it 5-6 months. That time has come and I definitely know my eyes won’t be evening out. My left eye is evidently smaller than my right and it has made me more self conscious than I was prior to my surgery. I’m so disappointed with my results.

The asymmetry appears to be due to insufficient ptosis repair of the smaller eye.  You should follow up with your primary surgeon and a revision surgery is most likely warranted.  Best of luck!Goretti H. Taghva MD FACS

I am not sure which side have issue. Your photos are keep changing right to left.
Which side it is, one eye has ptosis and this is the cause of asymmetry of crease. You need to address this issue before you handle the crease size. This can simply determine how to change crease size with eye drop test.

Morning Dweener,Thank you for the photos.You have a few things going on.  One, as has been pointed out you have some ptosis that was likely undertreated  on the smaller eye.  But also, it would appear that the smaller eye is a bit deeper set in the orbit or eye socket.  This creates a situation that even if a surgery resulted in very good results you'd still have some degree of asymmetry between the two sides.A revision may be in order but I can tell you from performing Asian eyelid surgery every working day that due to the combination of ptiosis, very slight enophthalmos, and other craniofacial asymmetry around the eyes the two eyes will never be totally symmetry.  They can be very similar though.The way you'd handle this may be a revision ptosis surgery with anchoring technique to make a new crease.  However, sometimes the new crease doesn't stick very well if your eyelid motion on the ptotic eye is weaker.You need a specialist.Best of luck to you.Chase Lay MDAsian eyelid surgery specialist.

I agree the difference is significant and you should seek an advice of a qualified surgeon (the first surgeon is always the best because they know what surgery they've performed on you) for possible revision.
