What's the solution for light brown not fading after CO2 skin laser? (Photo)

Hey hope so you are doing great I had co2 laser session before 3 moonths back in december - then second session in january . the problem is the square shape box light brown is not fading away from the skin even i have meso+prp a week ago but it’s not going anyway. It will not be cleared from the picture. i am avoiding sunlight 100% but no result. Tell me what’s the fine solution of this

Hi Syed,
You need to start a cream with 4% hydroquinone (not stronger) twice/day + a topical retinoid at night. Continue with strict photo-protection. It should clear within 6 to 12 weeks. I offer virtual consults, so please feel free to reach out if you need help with this.

I have been cautioning readers, particularly those with skin of color (SOC), to be especially cautious about the use of lasers and other energy-based devices. For one, they are expensive "bells and whistles" whose hard science to back of their use lags well behind the heavy marketing and social media influencer hype to promote them.  In SOC, they run the additional risk for the development of often difficult to treat dyspigmentation problems, as appears to be the case here. PRP  for aesthetic reasons is likewise backed by a whole lot of hype. So, I am unfortunately not surprised at all by your question. You would be wise to consult a board certified cosmetic dermatologist to discuss the in-office use of a series of superficial peels (high concentrations of glycolic or salicylic acid; Jessner's solution: or low concentrations of TCA) accompanied by the at-home, regular use of prescription bleaching agents.
