Within next few months I’m likely getting endovenous laser ablation for varicose veins AND schlerotherapy for spider veins. I’m 35 years old and my varicose veins & spider veins are in early stages. In general, what compression level in mmHg’s is typically recommended for compression stockings after these procedures? I will ask my doctor once I meet with him before the procedure, but I’m just trying to get a general idea for now.

If it is not the temporal artery then this vein can be treated either by sclerotherapy or removal through tiny incisions. Either procedure is very safe and and can be done in the office under local anesthesia. Gaining weight is not the answer.
Sclerotherapy is a process and usually several sessions are required. Depending on the extent of your veins and the number of sessions required, the cost can vary. Discuss this with your treating physician.
