Current cost of Dysport and is there a new product that is better?

Female, 68, lost 68 lbs in last 6 years and have kept it off. Currently, I have no fillers, nothing in my face nor have since last year. Thank you for your time!

Thank you for your question. Dysport is a wonderful product that helps fine lines from worsening and prevent new lines from forming. The average cost is around $13 per unit and in my professional opinion Dysport is still the best neurotoxin out there. Since you have lost a significant amount of weight you could consider filler if you feel the skin has laxity or you could try Morpheus8 to help with collogen and elasticity. Congratulations on your impressive weight loss!  Dysport is one of several neuromodulators on the market.  The most common are Botox and Dysport.  Each product is formulated slightly differently, but one isn't necessarily "better" than the other.  Of note, one unit of Botox is equivalent to approximately 3 units of Dysport so keep that in mind when considering pricing.  It is important to find an experienced injector for treatment.  Be sure to discuss the goals you have for treatment and review before/after photos if you wish.  We also recommend using medical grade skin care products like Transform MD and wearing sunscreen every day.
