How can I get rid of dots and stuck hairs after 4 laser hair treatments? (Photo)

Ive had 4 laser treatments on stomach. Afro American female black course hair. I can say the hair grows back way slower but, i have black dots all over my stomach. Some have hairs stuck in them for weeks and wont come out. my stomach feels really smooth but looks like i took a marker and painted a million dots on it. What do i do? I thought the dots would go away. Last treatment was 5 weeks ago and few hairs have shed or grown back.

Thank you for your question. Although you may have some hairs that have not fallen out yet I would say from your pictures that the dark dots are pigmentation around each of the follicles. This may fade over time now that the hair is almost gone although it is difficult to say without seeing you in person. I would speak to your provider about options to help reduce the pigment.Best Wishes,Pablo Prichard

This is a bit of an unusual complaint. You might try a little gentle tape-stripping: try medical adhesive tape as it may be more effective without hurting your skin. If that doesn't work, i think waxing should do the trick.This may have happened because your hairs are more coarse and curly, so they may be "stuck" in the follicles.
