Will the burn marks from Laser Hair Removal in my underarm fade or will this be permanent? (photo)

I went for an laser underarm hair removal 3 days ago and I got burn marks from it. I'm worried that it might not fade or it will leave a darker tone on my underarm area. As you can see, my underarm area has an uneven tone.

Unfortunately this can be a common side
effect of lasers.  It is important to go
to a fully trained professional.  Post
Laser Hyperpigmenation can be permanent but it can also fade with time, you may
want to speed up the fading process with some HQ Cream (Hydroquinone).  Prior to getting a laser treatment done make
sure your technician performs a test patch. 
On darker skin types test patches should be done several weeks prior to
treatment to ensure this does not happen again.

Thank you for your question. It does appear that you have some superficial burns from the laser hair session you had. These burns should fade over time, you can have your doctor prescribe you some hydroquinone cream to help lighten the area as it heals. Best wishes,Pablo Prichard

Hi,This should get better within a few days. However, you may need to use a cream to help faster healing like Cicalfate or something similar. Also, you should let your doctor know about this, so that this can be prevented in the future. If there is some persistent pigmentation after, say 2 weeks, then your doctor might consider a short course of a skin lightening cream containing hydroquinone.Good luck!
