Hey Doctors :-) I hope you all are having a fantastic week! I Have a question concerning my scar. It's not bad at all, but I would love for it to resolve the best way possible. Would it be wise to use the Retin-A cream 1% on my scar? I've included some pictures for your review. Thank you! ~Samantha

Answer: Scar treatment I would recommend a scar treatment plan that begins at one month if you are healing well. We use silicone scar sheeting and biocorneum topical scar compound, vitamin E oil and scar massage. You will continue treatment as incision is still pink and immature. Check with you PS on the treatment they recommend

Answer: Retin- A cream on Tummy Tuck Scar You might get a better result using a scar cream. There are several over the counter creams, plus vitamin E oil works well, also. Rub in the direction of the scar. Check in with your surgeon for instructions on scar management.
