Healing process after shaved mole? How to care for it? (photo)

Thank you for your question Diabeck.  Post shave wound care should consist of keeping the site clean, moist, and covered. Use gentle soap and water to cleanse, followed by vaseline and a bandaid. Continue those steps   daily until the wound is completely healed. Once the wound is a scar, silicone sheeting applied to the site can help with the scar. I also offer my patients a prescription scar gel.  We also use microneedling and Laser Genesis in our office to improve scar appearance and texture.  I hope that helps!
