I'm considering Botox for TMJ & I'm wondering if it will have an effect on the functionality of my Eustachian tubes. TMJ has caused frequent ear congestion & mild facial asymmetry, which I'm hoping to address with Botox. Thing is, my Eustachian tubes have trouble equalizing & I worry that once the Botox "sets in" they'll will be paralyzed in an open or shut position until the effect wears off. Is this a rational cause for concern?
