Congratulations on your recent VASER Liposuction procedure! Three days is too short of a time to assess the outcomes. VASER Lipo final results will take up to 6 months to show. Your body may look swollen for months, but after 6 months you might appreciate your new and beautifully contoured figure. I would recommend you wearing specialized compression garments, all day, for approximately 6 months and getting a minimum of ten lymphatic drainage massage sessions to remove the excess lymph fluid and totally alleviate the swelling and discomfort. Your symptoms are nothing unusual after lipo. Swelling can take months to resolve especially for large volume procedures like yours. Reassess your results at 6-9 months for a more accurate impression.

Hi Micheal,You trusted your surgeon to do your surgery, and my advice would be for you to trust him now that the procedure is completed.  You are 72 hours post surgery and there is a lot of fluid that your surgeon likely used to extract the fat, in addition you likely have swelling etc.  If you had ankle, knee or breast surgery you would not be critiquing your final results at 3 days and those same rules apply to liposuction.  Be patients and follow your post op instructions your doctor gave you and re assess truly in 6 months.  If you stare at the areas everyday you will drive yourself crazy.

Your surgeon was correct. Three days is too early to tell what your final results will look like. I would give it at least three months until you consider going back and seeing if there is any correction to be made. In most cases, the results settle and the tissue settles back into place. Thank you for your question, I advise you to sit back and calm, its too early to judge a result. Even if you would need a correction of the surgery, you will have to wait till 3 months atleast.
