How many days after a lip lift are the stitches removed?

Thanks for your question.  The skin sutures are removed between 5-7 days after lip lift, depending on the individual patient's skin type.  The deep absorbable sutures that are placed under the surface of the skin will remain for longer to help support the incision while it heals.

Hello connollyyI would advice you visit or contact your plastic surgeon about this concern and all oter  post-op concerns. 

The sutures usually stay in for 5 days following the lip lift.  The reason for this is to eliminate the chance of stitch marks.  Regardless, the wound is not strong and it should be treated with care until matured.
