Is Procerus muscle and soft tissue removal apart of radix reduction process? (Photo)

Question

I've seen a few doctors mention procures muscle and soft tissue removal in the radix area and I'm curious as to what that is? When I touch my nose I can pinch a chunk of soft tissue in the radix area. I'm not sure if the bone is wide or if its the soft tissue surrounding. Should I get my radix thinned or should I get the soft tissue/procerus muscle removed.. or both? I'd also love the radix lowered closer towards my eyelid from the profile view.

The radix is simply the area just below the brow on the upper nose. If this area is high it is preferable to remove the bony tissue and let the soft skin, muscle, and fat settle down over a smooth surface. Removing muscle can, but not always, result in an irregular skin surface with less predictable results. In rhinoplasty surgery we always want to use the most predictable techniques to avoid complications.

Did you have a rhinoplasty in the past?  A radix reduction is often a bony excision and procures is part of the soft tissue which can also be treated.

The radix reduction is accomplished with osteotomies to remove the bony component. The soft tissue component consists of the procures muscle which can be transected and weakened, but not removed.
