Is it possible to have a breast augmentation at 17 with my parents' consent?

Any elective aesthetic surgery in a teenager is done with great consideration. However many teams particularly preparing for college choose to have a breast augmentation with the consent of the parents.

As we all know and understand, government recommendations are for the masses and not the individual.There are also recommendations from the FDA as to which type of implant- saline and silicone - you receive based on your age.Having fully developed breast at the time of surgery is important and that is one reason 18 is the suggested age. Another reason is that you need to be mature enough to understand the long term consequences of this surgery. as bodies are changing and growing.  Though it is likely you will have the body shape you describe, its still best to wait until your development is done as it allows you to have the best result possible.  The padded bras of today easily provide you the look you want with your clothes on.  Be patient and when done growing, the go for it.  Also, you can have silicone 'off label' if you ask your surgeon about it.  It could void the warranty but your surgeon should be able to get clarification for you on that before going ahead with the procedure.  And if you want to give yourself the best chance at breast feeding, avoid the nipple incision.

Although you can do this, I recommend waiting that one extra year until you are 18 to go through with a breast augmentation procedure. Continue to think it through for the next year, maybe even meet with a couple surgeons and find who you like, but in my opinion it would be best to wait until after you are 18 to have the surgery done.

This means that you would not be eligible for the warranty on the breast implant offered by the breast implant companies and the surgeon may require you sign a release. 

While it is possible to have breast augmentation with your parents' approval  you would have to be seen in person.  If you are still growing then I would wait a bit longer until you are 18 or older.
