I‘ve been devastated about this and have developed a mild case of body dysmorphia because of it. 10 months ago I had a septorhinoasty. I just wanted to correct my breathing through a septoplasty but the surgeon suggested we might as well remove the hump and I didn’t think much of it. I’ve been bothered by this result everyday since I’ve looked in the mirror, and wanted second opinions as to what went wrong. My nose and tip is way less defined and drifts.

It's difficult to answer this question if you haven't established with your surgeon the parts that you wanted to change. It sounds like you didn't want any aesthetic alternations but the surgeon decided to reduce the bump on the nose.

I think this is a very basic mistake between a doctor and a patient not having the proper communication before undergoing any surgery – especially Rhinoplasty. My best advice would be to go and see your surgeon and discuss a way to resolve it.
