My nose took a hit and was wondering how easy is it to damage a rhinoplasty?

How easy is it to damage a nose 10 months after rhinoplasty?The simple answer to the question is that it is actually rather difficult to do real damage to the nose 10 months after rhinoplasty. I have been doing Rhinoplasties for over 35 years. During that time I have probably received over 200 calls from anxious patients who banged their nose one week or two weeks or three weeks after rhinoplasty and we’re concerned about damaging it. Out of the 200 patients only one had actually done damage and that was a patient who fell on her nose on concrete steps. In that case the trauma was obvious the patient had a black eye, got a severe bloody nose, had significant distortion and swelling of the bridge of the nose accompanied by tenderness pain and crepitance. If you did not get a black-eye or a bloody nose and if there was only minor swelling which resolved in two days, and if there is no pain or tenderness or movement of the bridge when you press on it the overwhelming odds are that there was no harm done. Of course nothing can replace an in person examination but based on your description, if I were a betting man I would bet 1000 to one that you did no permanent harm to your nose.
