I never need to pull on my eyelids to insert my contacts. I can just open my eyes and pop them in easily. With that said, would it be safe to put contacts in after a blepharoplasty if this is how I insert them? From my understanding, the main reason to avoid contacts is so you don't disturb the stitches. However, if I don't need to touch that area, would it be okay?

I believe that you could improve the asymmetry with fillers, assess the outcome and not commit to a permanent implant. Everyone has some degree of facial asymmetry. Judicious use of shading makeup can also trick the eye.
