What are the effective and affordable treatments for my aging neck? (Photo)

Our office has many different treatments for scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Scars require a combination approach using our HI DEF protocol which uses a combination of lasers, topical scar modulation, and RF treatments to pixelate scars, improve contour, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve the visibility of the scars so that they are no longer visible in ambient light. Hyper-redness in scars can be improved with V beam laser, Excel V, BBL, IPL, and Venus RF to improve the redness and reduce the visibility of deep scars. Fractional Thulium laser and clear & brilliant can also reduce the inflammation and redness of the scar when combined with topical therapy. Fractional lasers such as Fraxel, erbium, and CO2 laser can be combined with radio frequency and also fractional RF to improve textual issues and microtopography. Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. Above all, our combination approach with our clinical nurses and board-certified plastic surgeons can improve the quality of your skin by using at home Melarase creams combined with PRP treatments in our office to improve your skin quality and tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced team of experts in order to reduce your scarring.

Finally, hyperpigmentation of scars can be improved with at-home Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads to help reduce active PIH and melanin deposition.

younger clients of mine do facetite , morpheus, threads, and yearly thermage/ultherapy. at home dermarolling every week (see link).

most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift.  an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done.

For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed.  Options include:

A variety of options can be used to common neck problems including PDO threads. In order to tighten and firm your skin, I would suggest combining Microneedling, Secret RF with Fraxel. Botox and fillers are also wonderful options when appropriate. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.

Hi, Your neck skin is in a very good condition ! The thinning of the skin mentioned could benefit from collagen stimulating procedures (RF microneedling), the appearance of the bands could be addressed with a derma filler. Sagging could also be addressed with a neurotoxin injection.

Thank you for your question. I would consider collagen building procedures such as ultherapy and thermage. Ultherapy can be localized to just treat you neck if that is your main concern so this could be more cost effective method compared to doing full face/neck thermage. This will help stimulate collagen growth to tighten the skin and improve the skin quality/thickness. Hope this helps!
