Hello! I’m 24 and have a droopy chin. Always had it however, got a chin implant about 2-3 years ago. It is self diagnosed but guess I have dynamic ptosis. I wonder what procedure do I need? Which doctors would perform it? Will it be fully treated? Possible complications... Thank you in advance

Answer: Chin implant tails are being pulled by the muscles.
Dynamic changes that occur when people animate (contract facial muscles) are difficult to change. It is best to seek improvement for conditions that are present without animating. However, you might want to consider some botox to selected muscles to diminish theireffect when you smile.
A sliding genioplasty would improve your facial balance and provide a permanent solution to the recessive nature of your chin. Fillers are another option but they are temporary and will need constant maintenance. You might want to try the fillers first to see if you like the look.
Ideally you would have a sliding genioplasty to bring your chin forward AND up as well as jaw angle implants. This would be combined with jaw angle implants as well as buccal lipectomies with perioral and neck liposuction for an overall lower facial reshaping/profile change.
