I am looking at getting HA filler above and below my eyes to reposition my eye and look younger. A plastic surgeon I recently met with claimed that once the HA filler dissipates, the results will mostly remain in place for 6-10 years because of the scar tissue created and collagen that fills in the void. Is this true or mostly true, or does the improvement in appearance mostly disappear after 12-24 months?
