Rhinoplasty is the surgery of millimeters, and swelling in the lower third of your nose may persist for a year. You may discuss your concerns with your surgeon, or consider re-asking your question with before and after photos on oblique and profile views. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
Yes, I do see differences. You need to have patience with your body as it begins to heal. The skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. If, one year from now, you are unhappy with your nose, then that is the time to think about a revision procedure. Right now, concentrate on other things you like to do and let your nose take its time to heal. I hope this helps.
HelloThe inflammation process can last from 6 months to 1 year, each patient has an individual recovery process. In your particular case, a difference is definitely seen, I recommend to be patient, keep following all instructions given by your surgeon. If you're still worried don't hesitate to consult your doctor. Good luck.Regards Dr. Israel Mañon Certified Plastic Surgeon
