I have had ptosis correction surgery a few years ago and it left my eyelids looking uneven. I really dislike my left eyelids. They appear to droop on the outer corner and are extremely thin in the middle/inner corner. I have considered doing fillers in the upper eyelid, but I have never seen a case like mine. Would it be possible?

Answer: Your situation is complex. In the photos, you have residual ptosis of the left upper eyelid with a long upper eyelid platform and high crease. The right eye appears over corrected or may be exhibiting over action driven by the heavy left upper eyelid. It is possible to lower an upper eyelid crease, correct ptosis and even address an over corrected eyelid. However, the are all nonstandard surgeries that require a very thoughtful approach and detailed assessment. The goal is to aesthetically improve the symmetry of the two eyelids. This is possible but very few eyelid surgeons offer this type of work. Aesthetically fixing and improving unsatisfactory prior surgery is a large focus of my practice. Your eyes can be your best feature. It all starts with a detailed in person examination.
