Answer: I'm Obese - is CoolSculpting an option for me? Hello vikivignesh, Thank you for your great question. Your weight of 120 kg means you are either obese or morbidly obese, depending on your height. CoolSculpting is meant to reduce fat pockets or areas of fat in patients who aren't more than 15-20 above their goal weight. Heavier patients who have CoolSculpting understand that they would require many treatments, but this may be cost prohibitive. I would recommend you see your doctor and begin a medically supervised weight loss program. Following significant weight loss you will then be bothered by excess skin which may require surgery. Best of luck with your efforts, Oscar A. Aguirre, MDAguirre Specialty Care - Pelvic Surgery & Intimate Aesthetics®

Answer: My waist size is 44 inches and my weight is 120kg, can I do Coolsculpting to reduce my waistline? Thanks for your question. An individual who is at their ideal weight and would like to reduce some stubborn fat is an ideal candidate for CoolSculpting. An in person consultation by a board certified plastic surgeon is necessary to determine if you are a candidate as every case is different. Regards,

Answer: CoolSculpting Hello, Thank you for your question. Without seeing a picture it is difficult to give an exact answer. CoolSculpting is designed to work on individuals in a healthy weight range, with a healthy lifestyle. It will work best on "soft" fat. It is best for you to consult with a local physician to determine the right course of treatment. Good luck.

Answer: Coolsculpting and weight loss I would not recommend Coolsculpting for you at this time. You will be best served by losing weight first. The amount of Coolsculpting to make a difference will be astronomically too high. I would recommend going to medically supervised weight loss program and once you get within 15-20 lbs of your goal weight then Coolsculpting can help target the remainding fat. In our clinic we provide many weight loss programs though HCG is the most popular.

Coolsculpting dissolves fat cells. One treatment dissolves approximately 25% of fat cells, while with 2 treatments you may expect around 45 to 50 % of fat decrease in the area treated.
