Could rib cartilage grafts be removed to return to a similar previous nose? (Photo)

Question

Rib cartillage grafts were used in my previous rhinoplasty. Articulated alar rim grafts, perichondimrium grafts at laterals, septal extension graft and columelar shield graft. My “only” problem was alar retraction. As a result of this rhinoplasty, my nose is full by inside not allowing me to breath properly. Tip is overorojected and upturned and columella is fixed as a stick not allowing me to move my face muscles in a natural wat. I eould like to remove all these grafts.

Hello! Thank you for your question.From the information you provided it looks like too many grafts and cartilage have been used. Some of them can be removed during a revision rhinoplasty surgery but the surgeon needs to make sure there will still be support inside your nose (so the tip doesn't drop).
