Feel flaccidity & swelling after inner thigh & saddlebags lipovaser, what could be the problem? (Photos)

Question

I had liposuction done on the inner thigh and the saddlebags. They extracted 600 cc of good quality fat. The result hasn't been as desired since the inner thigh looks the same or worse. When I touch it, I don't feel the fat, but I do feel flaccidity and what I believe is swelling. I followed the doctor's instructions to wear a compression garment for three months. What could be the problem? The doctor is far away since I didn't have the surgery in my city.

Without further information or an exam it's difficult to give specific answers.  When fat is moved from areas where the skin is thinner, the inner thighs for example, the support is reduced which could lead to the flaccid or loose feeling of the skin. Although your clothing is partially hiding the areas, liposuction of the flanks could help smooth down your hips. An examination is needed to be certain, but skin tightening with Renuvion could be helpful for the inner thighs.

I understand your concern. Skin tightening procedure might help you. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

For most people requesting inner thigh liposuction, I usually recommend against it.
The area does not respond well to Liposuction and usually creates more skin laxity in an area or skin laxity is usually already a problem.
Liposuction results are permanent and irreversible.
I simply don’t recommend treating this area Except for some young individuals with tight skin. 
I generally don’t recommend people travel, long distances for elective surgical procedures, and generally always recommend having multiple in person consultations before selecting a provider.
During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of the before and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own.
 This way you’ll have a good understanding of what your results are likely to look like.
Delivering consistent quality, Liposuction results is more difficult than most people realize.
The number of plastic surgeons who approach mastery of this procedure is in reality quite small.
