yes you NEED to pretreat your skin most of my clients do enlighten peels before smaller TCA peels to ensure better results, if not you cando vivatia foam, faith essance serum and restorsea 10x with phyto plus (see emeragecosmetics.com where we do free skincare consults daily). I DO NOT like steroids on the skin and that compound you are going to do is very bad for the cosmetic treatment of your skin. Best, Dr. Emer.
These are questions for the physician who is doing the peel. However, since a 7.5% TCA peel is rare among professionals, I assume you are doing the peel yourself. If so, I very STRONGLY recommend that you DO NOT DO IT! TCA peels, or peels in general, are very tricky and should only be done by an expert who understands the skin and the indication for the peel as well how to use it safely. I cannot tell you how many problems I have post peel, even when performed by a physician who was trained to use them. The Skinlite cream is also another problem. It is like many other cosmeceuticals, a mixture of several things that have proven efficacy in the proper dosage and when used correctly, but in the formulation like yours are totally worthless. See a plastic surgeon or dermatologist who specializes in skin care and rejuvenation.
